This Privacy Policy explains how Racetrace ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit racetraceart.com or place an order. We are based in the United Kingdom and handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

  • Order & contact details — your name, email address, delivery address and payment confirmation. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
  • Personalisation details — the athlete name, race and race year you give us, and the finish time, route and similar details needed to create your poster.
  • Usage & device information — collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies: pages viewed, device and browser type, and how you interact with the site.

Personalising your poster

To create your print we use the athlete name and race year you provide, together with the race you select, to look up your publicly available official race result (finish time, splits and similar) from the event's published results. We use this only to design your poster and to confirm its accuracy with you at proof stage. We do not use it for any other purpose.

How we use your information

To take and fulfil your order, design and print your personalised poster, send you a proof to approve, provide customer support, send order-related emails, prevent fraud, meet our legal obligations, and — where you have consented — send marketing and measure our advertising.

Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to run the shop:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders.
  • Payment providers (for example Shopify Payments and PayPal) to take payment securely.
  • Print & delivery partners to produce and ship your poster.
  • Email, analytics and advertising providers (for example Meta and Google), used with your consent to send marketing and measure our advertising.

We never sell your personal information.

Advertising & analytics

With your consent we use cookies and similar technologies — including analytics and advertising pixels (for example Meta and Google) — to understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

We use essential cookies to make the site work (for example, remembering your cart) and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can manage these through the cookie banner and your browser.

Data retention

We keep order and personalisation information for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, after which we delete or anonymise it.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
